State agency summaries for the non-competitive Technology Innovation Grants (nTIGs) awarded FY 21.

Through ARPA, USDA received waiver authority to support WIC and FMNP outreach, innovation, and modernization. Waivers are currently available to support WIC online shopping and ARPA funded projects.

Each year WIC announces the Loving Support Award of Excellence program, formerly known as the Loving Support Award of Excellence.

WIC Food and Nutrition Services and Administration grant levels by fiscal year and state agency. Grant levels for the current fiscal year are posted approximately 30 days after an agriculture appropriations bill has been signed into law and are updated quarterly and at fiscal year-end.

Since FY 2022, FNS has awarded over $9 million in grants to 37 State agencies to support WIC FMNP eSolutions.

State agencies used these grants to implement and evaluate nutrition education, meal service training, and environmental changes in school or child care settings. This booklet showcases only a small portion of the wide array of grantee activities conducted.

On Aug.16, 2023, FNS announced the award of $9.4 million in federal funding for the FY 2023 Team Nutrition Grant for Supporting Nutrition Education for School-Aged Children.

USDA Food and Nutrition Service expects to award approximately $9.6 million in total funding.
