The Breastfed Babies Welcome Here! poster helps Child and Adult Care Food Program providers show their support for breastfeeding and breastfed babies. 

The CEP resource center provides extensive resources for parents, teachers, and school officials at the local, state and Federal level to better understand CEP and its positive benefits, along with useful tools to help facilitate successful implementation of the provision in your school!

Each year WIC announces the Loving Support Award of Excellence program, formerly known as the Loving Support Award of Excellence.

The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) will discontinue the requirement for vendors to use high security seals to secure USDA Foods deliveries as of July 1, 2023. 

The Breastfed Babies Welcome Here! resource contains communication tools CACFP operators can use to let mothers and families know that breastfed babies are welcome at their child care site.

WIC was established as a permanent program in 1974 to safeguard the health of low-income women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk. This mission is carried out by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, nutrition education (including breastfeeding promotion and support), and referrals to health and other social services. 

Action steps for LEAs, districts, and schools to develop, implement, and evaluate a wellness policy and documentation needed for the monitoring process.
