This policy memorandum transmits the 2019-2020 Income Eligibility Guidelines for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) that were published in the Federal Register on April 26, 2019.

The USDA announces adjusted income eligibility guidelines to be used by State agencies in determining the income eligibility of persons applying to participate in WIC. These income eligibility guidelines are to be used in conjunction with the WIC Regulations.

This information collection addresses the state agency reporting burden associated with the following state agency options under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP): Establishing and reviewing standard utility allowances (SUAs) and establishing methodology for offsetting cost of producing self-employment income.

The net monthly income standard for each household size is the sum of the applicable SNAP net monthly income standard and the applicable SNAP standard deduction.

On Dec. 27, 2020, the President signed into law the Consolidated Appropriations Act 2021. This Act excludes federal pandemic unemployment compensation payments authorized under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act from consideration as income for the purposes of determining FDPIR eligibility.

These income eligibility guidelines are to be used in conjunction with the SFMNP regulations
