Until then, Pandemic EBT will continue to be available for summer 2023. Families in participating states will typically receive a total of $120 per eligible child this summer.
Eligibility for 2023 Summer P-EBT
Households in participating states are eligible for summer 2023 P-EBT benefits if their child is:
- Automatically eligible for free or reduced price school meals without submitting a household application (e.g., directly certified through SNAP, TANF, foster care, etc.);
- Eligible for free or reduced price school meals through a household application; or
- Attended a school where every student eats school meals for free through participating in the Community Eligibility Provision, or Special Provision 2 or 3 in school year 2022-23..
