FNS is seeking public comment on its intent to ask the Office of Management and Budget to extend approval of the information collection under OMB approval #0584-0654 from Jan. 31, 2022 until Aug. 27, 2023.

FNS published a document in the Federal Register of Nov. 8, 2021, concerning a Request for Information about establishing a resource center that supports state and local WIC agencies in improving the application and certification journey. In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice invites the general public and other public agencies to comment on this proposed information collection. 

This notice invites the general public and other public agencies to comment on this proposed information collection associated with SNAP benefit storage and expungement provisions of the 2008 and 2018 Farm Bills.

This is a request for a new collection to conduct demonstration pilot projects to test the redemption of SNAP benefits through mobile payment technologies and issue a request for volunteers to solicit applications from SNAP state agencies for these pilots.

On Oct. 1, 2021, the requirement to credit grains served in the CACFP in "ounce equivalents" was implemented. This action also applied to the crediting of grains served to infants and toddlers in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. This document corrects the final regulations to align meal pattern tables and corresponding endnotes with regulatory requirements.

FNS is proposing to add a new system of records, entitled USDA/FNS-12, which will replace The Integrity Profile (TIP) as the system used to house State agency vendor management data for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children.

This is a revision of a currently approved collection for the Food Programs Reporting System. The purpose of FPRS is to enable data gathering for the reporting of data related to FNS programs, including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

FNS plans to add TEFAP Reach and Resiliency Grants to its list of approved programs under the Uniform Grant Application for Non-Entitlement Discretionary Grants,  and intends to collect additional information for the TEFAP Reach and Resiliency Grants outside of what is currently in the uniform package. 

This collection is a revision of a currently approved collection for the School Nutrition and Meal Cost Study-II. The purpose of SNMCS-II is to provide a comprehensive picture of school food service operations and the nutritional quality, cost, and acceptability of meals served in the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program.
