Are you looking for fun ways to promote nutrition and physical activity at your elementary or middle school? Use this events idea booklet to get started!

Team Nutrition Cooks! is a series of cooking-based nutrition activities for out-of-school and afterschool programs, for children around ages 8 to 12 years old. 

These dynamic posters visually express the theme of the Dig In! unit – namely, the world of possibilities found in growing and eating fruits and vegetables. Display them in your classroom, the school cafeteria, and other places throughout the school to motivate students to choose more fruits and vegetables at meals and as snacks.

This eleven-lesson curriculum for 3rd and 4th grades includes bulletin board materials, veggie dice, fruit and vegetable flash cards, and ten issues of Garden Detective News for parents/caregivers.

This resource is designed to help Child and Adult Care Food Program operators provide garden-based nutrition education for children ages 3 through 5 years in family child care settings.
