This memorandum provides guidance to state agencies and program operators for managing situations in which sponsors receive more reimbursement than they have spent on allowable costs in the Summer Food Service Program.

This memorandum provides information to assist state agencies in preventing approval of multiple sites offering meal services at the same time to the same population of children in the Summer Food Service Program. 

This is a revision of a currently approved information collection for Pandemic EBT (P–EBT) for the reporting burden associated with administering P–EBT. This revision is limited in nature and only includes collection activities essential to facilitating the orderly wind-down and close-out of the P–EBT program.

FNS has estimated the number of new discretionary exemptions each state has earned for FY 2024. States that operated under a statewide waiver of the ABAWD time limit did not earn any new exemptions.

USDA is issuing this notice of proposed rulemaking to improve SNAP's quality control system as required in the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018. 

This communication is intended to provide states with information about a change in the FNS accounting process for obligating SNAP funds.

USDA FNS is proposing to add a new system of records, entitled USDA/FNS–13, Mercury, which is a Consumer Off the Shelf workflow system designed to automate the correspondence tracking and management process within FNS.

In order to update and streamline policy guidance for CSFP and TEFAP, FNS is cancelling Policy Memoranda FD-138 and FD-141.

FNS is communicating the following guidance to remind WIC state agencies and WIC authorized vendors of our ongoing commitment to ensure the safety of infant formula purchased in the WIC program, and to prevent stolen infant formula from being purchased with WIC benefits.

The purpose of this memo is to allocate funding for Farm to Food Bank Projects in FY 2024.
