This rulemaking finalizes long-term school nutrition requirements based on the goals of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2020-2025, robust stakeholder input, and lessons learned from prior rulemakings.

The purpose of the case management services is to guide E&T participants towards appropriate E&T components and activities based on the participant's needs and interests, to support the participant in the E&T program and to provide activities and resources that will assist the participant toward self-sufficiency.

State agencies must maintain quarterly E&T Program Activity Reports containing monthly figures for participation in the program. State agencies report this data using the online Food Program Reporting System.

This rulemaking proposes long-term school nutrition standards based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2020-2025, and feedback the USDA received from child nutrition program stakeholders during a robust stakeholder engagement campaign. 

The U.S. Departments of Health and Human Services and Agriculture announce the first meeting of the newly appointed 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee. The final rule entitled Employment and Training Opportunities in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program was published on Jan. 5, 2021. The Office of Management and Budget cleared the associated information collection requirements on March 16, 2021. This document announces approval of the ICR.

 This is a revision of currently approved information collection requirements associated with initiating collection actions against households who have received an overissuance in SNAP.

 This notice invites the general public and other public agencies to comment on this proposed information collection for the extension, without change, of a currently approved collection for the SNAP Employment and Training (E&T) Program Activity Report  and state requests for additional funding only.
