This information collection is for activities associated with SNAP demonstration projects and the SNAP State Options Report, respectively.

The purpose of the case management services is to guide E&T participants towards appropriate E&T components and activities based on the participant's needs and interests, to support the participant in the E&T program and to provide activities and resources that will assist the participant toward self-sufficiency.

The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 authorized Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer for Children (Summer EBT) as a permanent federal food assistance entitlement program beginning in summer 2024. Summer EBT has been tested through evaluations of demonstration projects since 2011. With pending implementation of this new program, this is an appropriate time to reflect on what USDA, FNS research has learned through more than a decade of study.

The intent of this series is to provide practical tools and resources for state agencies to use in growing and
strengthening their SNAP E&T programs. This will be an ongoing series and FNS will be developing and
releasing new targeted tools to help state agencies implement the four parts of this technical assistance.

From the 2022 sessions and additional conversations with presenters, we identified four approaches SNAP E&T administrators can apply in their program design and delivery of SNAP E&T services to incorporate a focus on equity
