Attached is a set of Questions and Answers to assist WIC state agencies in implementing the NVRA and to identify issues and decisions which may require consultation with state election officials. As indicated in Policy Memorandum: 94-4, state agencies should integrate voter registration services in the least burdensome, most efficient manner.

The study examined the costs charged to SFAs (reported costs), as well as those costs incurred by the school district in support of SFA operations, but not charged to the SFA (unreported costs). Together, the reported costs and the unreported costs are the full cost of meal production.

This notice announces the annual adjustments to the national average payment rates for meals served in child care, outside-school- hours care and adult day care centers, the food service payment rates for meals served in day care homes, and the administrative reimbursement rates for sponsors of day care homes to reflect changes in the Consumer Price Index.

Resource | Notices Accommodation of Cultural Food Preferences in the WIC Program

Recently, cultural food preferences among participants in the WIC program have received considerable attention. There has been concern expressed that some WIC participants may not take full advantage of program benefits (e.g., the food packages and nutrition education) for cultural reasons. In this Notice, the Department is soliciting public comments regarding the issues surrounding the accommodation of cultural food preferences in the WIC program.
