2023 Farm to School 908 Reporting Forms

This memorandum provides the total funding amount available to FNS to distribute to state agencies, which is $252.6 million for FY 2024. This includes $219.6 million in new funds available under Section 19 of the National School Lunch Act, which is the prior year base amount adjusted for inflation, and an additional $33 million in unexpired carryover funds from previous years.

This is a revision of a currently approved collection. The purpose of the Uniform Grant Application Package for Discretionary Grant Programs is to provide a standardized format for the development of all Requests for Applications for discretionary grant programs released by FNS and to allow for a more expeditious OMB clearance process.

This report highlights farm to school program trends and best practices from fiscal year 2015 and 2016 farm to school grantees. This report also features baseline data provided by grantees which is used to assess the impact of the grant program on the growth of the farm to school movement nationwide.
