This submission is a revision of a currently approved collection which covers the reporting and recordkeeping burden associated with the Seniors Farmers' Market Nutrition Program. The information collected is used by USDA to manage, plan, evaluate, make decisions, and report on SFMNP program operations.

This request for approval of information collection is necessary to obtain input into the development of nutrition education interventions for population groups served by FNS. Collection of this information will increase FNS' ability to formulate nutrition education interventions that resonate with the intended target population, particularly low-income families.

FNS of USDA is requesting emergency approval under the Paperwork Reduction Act to conduct a survey of school food authorities to collect information on the continued impacts of COVID-19-related supply chain disruptions on the child nutrition (CN) programs, as well as emerging challenges related to the transition back to standard school nutrition program operations.

This collection is a revision of a currently approved collection for state administrative expense funds expended in the operation of the child nutrition programs administered under the Child Nutrition Act of 1966.

This agenda provides summary descriptions of significant and not significant regulations being developed in USDA agencies in conformance with Executive Orders “Regulatory Planning and Review” and “Improving Regulation and Regulatory Review.” 

In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice invites the general public and other public agencies to comment on this proposed information collection. 

FNS is proposing to modify the system of records, currently titled USDA/FNS-11, “Information on Persons Identified as Responsible for Serious Deficiencies, Proposed for Disqualification, or Disqualified to Participate as Principals or Family Day Care Home Operators in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

The Food and Nutrition Service published a document on July 16, 2021, concerning reimbursement rates for the National School Lunch, Special Milk, and School Breakfast Programs. The document contained an incorrect table entry.
