This proposed rule would amend the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program regulations to incorporate three provisions of the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023.

The federal regulations governing the WIC program require that certain program-related information be collected and that full and complete records concerning WIC operations are maintained.

This memorandum includes questions and answers on flexibilities available to TEFAP state agencies on the operation of TEFAP. These flexibilities may assist state agencies that administer TEFAP in continuing to provide food to people in need during the novel COVID-19 public health emergency.

This is a revision of currently approved information collection requirements associated with initiating collection actions against individuals/households who have received an overissuance in SNAP.
