Discover MyPlate includes seven emergent readers featuring kindergarten-level sight words that help children build literacy skills while learning about the five food groups and MyPlate.
This gallery features a variety of toolkits that have been developed by non-profit or government agencies to assist FDPIR program operators in providing nutrition-related content to their participants. Toolkits can be used to access a collection of resources that may include lesson plans, videos, and/or handouts on a specific targeted subject matter.
The Emergent Reader: Teacher’s Edition is larger than the emergent reader mini books and is in color. It features all seven of the emergent readers, along with additional activity and discussion ideas.
La edición para maestros de los Libros para lectores principiantes de Descubre MiPlato es más grande que los libros para los estudiantes y está en color
This educational storybook, available in English and in Spanish, was developed to introduce MyPlate to young children.
