The Farm to School Census and Comprehensive Review includes the 2019 Farm to School Census; a descriptive review of the USDA Farm to School grant program; a review of published research on farm to school since 2010; and a set of interviews with school food distributors. 

This notice announces the availability of non-competitive technology innovation grant funding, which will be distributed on a formula basis beginning in FY 2021 among all eligible state agencies administering the child nutrition programs and requests comment on this non-competitive approach.

In Fiscal Year 2018, the Food and Nutrition Service awarded more than $3.7 million in Child and Adult Care Food Program Meal Service Training Grants to 38 state agencies.

The CACFP Halftime: Thirty on Thursdays webinar series is a set of interactive, skills-building webinars that focus on hot topics related to the updated Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) meal patterns. This webinar will focus on creative and appealing ways to offer vegetables at meals and snacks in the CACFP.

This resource is designed to help Child and Adult Care Food Program operators provide garden-based nutrition education for children ages 3 through 5 years in family child care settings.

FNS is pleased to announce the release of the RFA for Child Nutrition Technology Innovation Grants. Funds will be available on a competitive basis to state agencies administering the child nutrition programs.

This webinar will focus on how CACFP operators can identify grain-based desserts, and use this knowledge to plan menus that meet program requirements.
