This proposed rule would amend the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program regulations to incorporate three provisions of the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023.
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide funding allocation amounts for the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program for all state agencies for FY 2025, including information on funding requirements and deadlines, and a reminder of important program requirements.
This Notice of Funding Availability is to distribute $10 million to state agencies to competitively award Equipment Assistance Grants to eligible school food authorities participating in the National School Lunch Program. This memorandum adjusts the total number of exemptions available to each state for FY 2024. This includes adjustments in the number of exemptions available to states in which caseloads change by more than 10 percent.
This final national caseload level ensures that resources are sufficient to provide full food packages to participants throughout the caseload cycle. FNS is allocating final caseload and administrative grants for 2024 to CSFP state agencies, including indian tribal organizations and U.S. territories.
By law, certain adults without dependents can only receive SNAP benefits beyond three months in a three-year period unless they meet specific work requirements. We refer to this as the “time limit.”
This information collection is for activities associated with SNAP demonstration projects and the SNAP State Options Report, respectively.
The Chef Ann Foundation is a cooperative agreement recipient from the USDA's Food and Nutrition Service.
