The purpose of this policy memorandum is to clarify the options available to state distributing agencies or recipient agencies in assigning value to USDA donated foods for audit purposes.
This memorandum consolidates the recent policy changes in the NSLP, SBP, and SFSP that affect the implementation of the Seamless Summer Option. This memorandum and its attachment supersede SP 37-2015, 2015 Edition of Questions and Answers for the National School Lunch Program’s Seamless Summer Option, May 22, 2015.
The proposed action would implement four sections of the Agricultural Act of 2014, (2014 Farm Bill), affecting eligibility, benefits, and program administration requirements for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
The purpose of this memorandum is to implement the revised threshold for conducting audits, as established in the Office of Management and Budget’s Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements.
This memorandum addresses questions that state agencies have asked regarding school food authority wide fiscal action and assists state agencies in completing administrative reviews of SFAs.
Since the Sept. 10, 2015 (80 FR 54410) publication of the final rule, Clarification of Eligibility of Fleeing Felons, FNS received several questions regarding its implementation. FNS released a Q&A in response to those questions on March 8, 2016. Since that time, FNS has received additional questions and therefore, issued this second Q&A to address them.
The proposed action would update civil rights assurance language contained in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program regulations on the Federal-State Agreement.
This information collection package consists of five components of state agency reporting and/or recordkeeping: a budget projection statement, a program activity report, state plans of operation updates, waiver requests and other plans and submissions such as advance planning documents for information systems and for electronic benefit transfer systems.
This memorandum provides general guidance on the various procurement groups FNS has identified, how to use each group in a way that complies with federal procurement standards, and supersedes SP 35-2012, Procuring Services of Purchasing Cooperatives, Group Purchasing Organizations, Group Buying Organizations, etc., dated June 12, 2012.
This memo clarifies both how states must treat Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) for the purposes of the ABAWD work requirement and identifies obsolete statutory references to programs under the WIOA.
