Form FNS-101: Participation in Food Programs - by Race 

This report, required under the 2008 Farm Bill, reviews the nutritional quality of the food package provided through USDA’s Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations, comparing its content to scientific standards including the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, the Dietary Reference Intakes, the Thrifty Food Plan nutrient standards and the Healthy Eating Index-2005. 

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide guidance regarding the rounding procedures to be used when determining the total resources and net monthly income of FDPIR applicant households.

The guidance provided by these policy memoranda has been incorporated in the newly revised FNS Instruction 716-4, Administrative Budget Negotiation Guidance for the Food Distribution Program in Indian Reservations and the Food Distribution Program for Indian Households in Oklahoma.

This memorandum provides clarification and technical assistance to state agencies and regional offices on the expanded nationwide FFVP.

We have obtained the latest school enrollment and attendance figures from the Department of Education. For your information, the updated national average daily attendance factor for use during Coordinated Review for School Year 2008-2009 is 93.5 percent.

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to all state agencies regarding operations of the FFVP under the National School Lunch Act beginning July 1, 2008.

Form FNS-667 is used by state agencies to report use of TEFAP administrative funds.
