The purpose of this memo is to allocate funding for Farm to Food Bank Projects in FY 2024.

The ongoing infant formula shortage due to supply chain issues, which worsened due to a major formula recall in February 2022, has left many CACFP operators concerned about access to formula and their options for safely feeding infants in their care.  

This notice announces the surplus and purchased foods that the department expects to make available for donation to states for use in providing nutrition assistance to the needy under TEFAP in FY 2022.

This is a new collection to consolidate and improve SNAP-Ed data collecting and reporting, as required in the 2018 Farm Bill.

This memorandum provides implementation guidance for Sec. 401 of the “Additional Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2022,” signed into law on May 21, 2022. Sec. 401 extends SNAP eligibility to certain Ukrainian parolees.
