FNS has a number of non-entitlement discretionary grant programs to collect the information from grant applicants needed to evaluate and rank applicants and protect the integrity of the grantee selection process. All FNS discretionary grant programs will be eligible, but not required to use the uniform grant application package.

This report, which provides an in-depth look at our first three years of grant-making, summarizes findings from an analysis of select data from projects funded during FY 2013-15.

The purpose of this memorandum is to distribute funding allocations in the amount of $25 million provided by the FY 2015 Agriculture Appropriations Act to state agencies that will competitively award equipment assistance grants to eligible school food authorities participating in the National School Lunch Program.
