FNS will award up to four (4) cooperative agreements for the administration and management of the Healthy Meals Incentives School Food System Transformation Challenge Sub-Grants. A Request for Applications for the fiscal year 2023 Development and Implementation of Healthy Meals Incentives School Food System Transformation Challenge Sub-Grants Cooperative Agreement is now available at Grants.gov.
FNS expects to award $50 million in total funding through a competitive award process for use over the grant period through up to four (4) cooperative agreements.
Non-governmental entities, such as public or private colleges or universities, non-profit or for-profit research organizations/institutions, and entities with experience working with school nutrition professionals and/or school food service industry to improve the nutritional quality of school meals.
Full grant applications are due via Grants.gov by 11:59 pm ET Feb. 1, 2023. Applications received after the deadline are deemed ineligible and will not be reviewed or considered. For questions regarding applications, please contact the Grant Officer, Anna Arrowsmith.
