Replacement of Stolen Benefits
Contact your state agency to report stolen SNAP benefits.
Households have 90 calendar days after the state has started their plan (Dec. 1, 2023) to submit a retroactive claim. Submit regular claims within 90 days of date of theft. Submit claims by mail or in-person at local offices. The state has 10 business days to validate the claim.
Benefit Availability: Benefits for approved claims are issued within 10 business days after claim approval. You must replace your card.

Report theft by email, mail, or in-person at local offices. Submit claims by mail, email, or in-person at local offices. The state has 10 calendar days to validate the claim.
Benefit Availability: Benefits for approved claims are issued immediately upon claim approval. You must replace your card.
