Replacement of Stolen Benefits

Contact your state agency to report stolen SNAP benefits.

Households have 90 calendar days after the state has started their plan (Feb. 1, 2024) to submit a retroactive claim. Submit regular claims within 60 calendar days of discovering theft. Submit claims by mail, phone, email, drop-box, or in-person at local offices. The state has 10 calendar days to validate the claim.

Benefit Availability: Benefits for approved claims are issued within 10 calendar days after date of claim submission. You must replace your card.
