Replacement of Stolen Benefits
Contact your state agency to report stolen SNAP benefits.
Households have 60 calendar days after the state has started their plan (July 31, 2023) to submit a retroactive claim. Submit regular claims within 60 calendar days of discovering theft. Report theft by phone, mail, email, online, or in-person at local offices. Submit claims by mail, email, or in-person at local offices. The state has 10 business days to validate the claim.
Benefit Availability: Benefits for approved retroactive claims are issued within 30 calendar days after date of claim submission. Benefits for approved regular claims are issued within 10 business days after the state receives a claim. You must replace your card.
