Households have 30 days after the state has started their plan (July 17, 2023) to submit a retroactive claim. Submit regular claims within 30 calendar days of discovering theft. Submit claims by mail or in-person at local offices. The state has 30 calendar days to validate the claim.
Benefit Availability: Benefits for approved claims are issued within 30 calendar days after date of claim submission. You must replace your card.

The state will then mail the claim form and you have 30 calendar days to return the form. For regular claims, report theft within 45 calendar days of date of theft. The state will mail a claim form within 10 calendar days and you have 30 calendar days to return the form. Report theft by phone, mail, email, or in-person at local offices. Submit claims by mail, fax, email, or in-person at local offices. The state has 30 calendar days to validate the claim.
