Replacement of Stolen Benefits
Contact your state agency to report stolen SNAP benefits.
Households have 30 days after the state has started their plan (July 17, 2023) to submit a retroactive claim. Submit regular claims within 30 calendar days of discovering theft. Submit claims by mail or in-person at local offices. The state has 30 calendar days to validate the claim.
Benefit Availability: Benefits for approved claims are issued within 30 calendar days after date of claim submission. You must replace your card.
If you need proof of enrollment or an eligibility letter for the National School Lunch Program, please contact your child’s school district directly.

Submit claims by mail, online (in certain districts), or in-person at local offices. The state has 30 calendar days to validate the claim.
