Replacement of Stolen Benefits
Contact your state agency to report stolen SNAP benefits.
Households have 90 calendar days after the state has started their plan (Sept. 1, 2023) to submit a retroactive claim. Report theft within 30 calendar days of discovering and submit a claim form within 10 more calendar days. Report theft and submit claims by phone, mail, email, online, or in-person at local offices. The state has 10 calendar days to validate the claim.
Benefit Availability: Benefits for approved claims are issued within 3 business days after claim approval. You must re-PIN your card and the state encourages you to replace your card.

Report theft and submit claims by phone, mail, or in-person at local offices. The state has 10 calendar days to validate the claim unless additional information is needed.
Benefit Availability: Benefits for approved claims are issued within 2 business days after claim approval. You must either re-PIN or replace your card.
