This memorandum provides the fiscal year (FY) 2024 inflation adjusted monthly cash-value voucher/benefit (CVV/B) amounts for fruit and vegetable purchases in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), effective Oct. 1, 2023.
WIC regulations at 7 CFR 246.16(j) require that the monthly value of the CVV/B be adjusted annually for inflation, with the adjustments effective the first day of each FY. Based on recently enacted appropriations legislation (PL 118-15), the FY 2024 CVV/B amounts are $26 for child participants, $47 for pregnant and postpartum participants, and $52 for fully and partially breastfeeding participants. FNS will notify state agencies of any subsequent actions impacting these amounts.
State agencies may direct any questions related to this memorandum to their respective FNS regional office.
