New Requirements for USDA Vendors: Reporting of Nutrition, Allergen, and Ingredient Information for USDA Foods in Schools

The Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) and Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) plan to release an initiative that utilizes the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) as a tool to receive nutrition, allergen, and ingredient information from suppliers of USDA Foods in Schools. USDA held a webinar March 31, 2021 to provide additional information.  Watch the recorded webinar to learn more about the goal of this initiative, the impact it will have on USDA Foods suppliers, and the timeline for implementation. This webinar is intended for vendors that supply USDA Foods.
