In September 2016, FNS awarded more than 6 million dollars in Team Nutrition Training Grant (TNTG) funds to 13 state agencies that administered the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). State agencies used this funding to implement and evaluate nutrition education, meal service training, and environmental changes in schools or child care sites. This publication showcases accomplishments, selected interventions, and notable outcomes of these grant activities.
