WIC Modernization & Innovation

USDA is committed to promoting nutritional security and improved health by guiding more WIC-eligible families to program benefits and investing additional resources to help all WIC families retain participation for the entirety of program eligibility.

The American Rescue Plan Act provided resources for projects focused on these objectives in the following areas: community outreach, shopper experience, farmers markets, workforce development, a WIC Experience Center and national marketing campaign.
