Definition of MSO

A Multi-Store Owner (MSO) is a person or company that owns 10 or more eligible retail food stores.

Do you own 10 or more stores?

If yes, you can email SNAPRetailers@fns.usda.gov. Please provide your contact information, the name of your company, and the reason for your inquiry. A FNS representative will contact you shortly.

  • What if I own multiple stores but have less than 10?
    You must have 10 or more stores to be a MSO. If you open more stores and reach 10, you can email SNAPRetailers@fns.usda.gov. Include your contact information, the name of your company, and the reason for your inquiry.
  • Is my store eligible?
    You can visit the "Is My Store Eligible?" page to learn more about the particular eligibility requirements stores must meet to be approved to accept SNAP benefits.
