SUBJECT:Food Stamp Provisions of the Farm Bill

On June 18, 2008, Congress enacted PL 110-246. Attached is an implementing memorandum describing the Food Stamp provisions of Title IV of PL 110-246, The Food, Conservation and Energy Act of 2008 (FCEA). Regulations reflecting revisions to the Food Stamp Act made by PL 110-246 will be published as soon as possible. Please forward the attached memorandum to your state commissioners.

Please keep us advised of any implementation problems and advise us of which options states choose to adopt.
