Description: Trying to start a new summer meal program in your community?  Or are you trying to improve upon your summer meal program such as adding new sites, organizing more activities for the kids who attend, or serving more meals?  Well, this webinar is for you.  The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a very creative program that allows people to utilize grants and partnerships to enhance their program.  There are many grants out there that can help with transportation, providing enrichment activities, site promotion, and meal preparation & service.  If you can't get a grant, then no worries.  Many summer meal sites and sponsors take advantage of local and national partnerships and the free services and resources that it offers.  Sometimes all you have to do is ask and doors will open up.  The guest speakers on the webinar will talk about all the opportunities out there to enhance your summer meal program and hopefully, you will see with new eyes all the potential resources in your community.
