SNAP Maximum Allotment Memo Delay

The Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018 (Pub. L. 115–334, the 2018 Farm Bill) required U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to re-evaluate the Thrifty Food Plan (TFP) by 2022 and every 5 years thereafter based on current food prices, food composition data, consumption patterns, and dietary guidance. By law, the June TFP is the basis for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) maximum allotments for the following fiscal year.
