School Breakfast Webinar Part 1: Offer Versus Serve Overview and Strategies for Success

The purpose of this webinar session is to provide an overview of the Offer versus Serve (OVS) provision in the School Breakfast Program. During the session, attendees will be provided with an overview of how OVS fits into the updated breakfast meal pattern that goes into effect for SY 2013-14, including specific examples of what reimbursable meals might look like. Attendees will also learn about new and existing technical assistance resources that have been published by FNS to help guide State agencies and local food service directors as they look towards implementing the OVS option at breakfast in the coming school year. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
