FNS Documents & Resources
The goal of the WIC Breastfeeding Support campaign is to equip WIC moms with the information, resources and support they need to successfully breastfeed.
The WIC Works Resource System is an education and training center for the staff of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children.
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) serves low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk. WIC provides participants with nutritious foods to supplement participant diets, nutrition education, and referrals to health and other social services.
The primary objective of this Handbook is to help state agencies navigate FNS requirements to secure approval, and get the requested funding, for modern eligibility systems and EBT benefit delivery services.
The FNS State Systems team has produced a series of training presentations designed to help state agencies understand and comply with the FNS approval process. These eight on-line presentations correspond to FNS Handbook 901, with information on the key documents or phases in the process.
