This gallery contains cookbooks and recipes that specifically target participants of FDPIR. Resources come from including ITOs, non-profit organizations, and the USDA. Cookbooks and recipes can be used to provide participants with ideas on how to utilize foods found in their FDPIR food package.
This educational storybook, available in English and in Spanish, was developed to introduce MyPlate to young children.
The recipes in the cookbook feature foods both children and adults should consume more of: dark green and orange vegetables, dry beans and peas, and whole grains. All of these healthy recipes are low in total fat, saturated fat, sugar and sodium.
