Resource | Policy Memos Reimbursement for Meals and Snacks Served at CACFP Emergency Shelters after the Public Health Emergency Ends

This memorandum notifies state agencies and program operators that temporary authority to claim reimbursement for meals and snacks to young people between the ages of 19 and 24 in emergency shelters participating in CACFP, will end when the COVID-19 public health emergency ends, which is expected on May 11, 2023.

Resource | Policy Memos | FNS-GD-2020-0177 Nationwide Waiver of Area Eligibility in the CACFP At-Risk Afterschool Care Component- Extension

This waiver allows schools and afterschool care centers, regardless of their location, to serve at-risk afterschool meals and snacks to students after the regular school day, through June 30, 2021. This waiver applies to state agencies administrating and local organizations operating the CACFP At-Risk Afterschool Care Component.
