Serving Up MyPlate is a collection of classroom materials that helps elementary school teachers integrate nutrition education into Math, Science, English Language Arts, and Health. This yummy curriculum introduces the importance of eating from all five food groups using the MyPlate icon and a variety of hands–on activities. Students also learn the importance of physical activity to staying healthy.
The appropriate “And Justice for All” poster is to be prominently displayed in all offices where there is a USDA presence and where it may be read by customers.
This poster is designed to educate middle/high school students in selecting a reimbursable breakfast under Offer versus Serve. Teachers and school foodservice professionals will find it helps students more quickly select the foods in the lunch line that make up a reimbursable meal.
