The Summer Food Service Program, also known as the Summer Meals Program, was established to ensure that children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. When school is out, SFSP provides free meals to kids and teens in low-income areas. The fact sheets (in English or Spanish) provides information about how SFSP works and what you can do to participate in Summer Meals.

Learn how you can help feed children this summer by incorporating youth engagement. The goal of the webinar is to provide examples of how the youth can not only participate in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), but also give back to their community by volunteering and advocating for the program. The webinar consists of a brief overview of the program, specifics on how youths can get involved, and some best practices!
