PL 88-525 - Food and Nutrition Act of 2008

Comment Request - SFMNP Information Collection
This information collection is requesting a revision to the previously approved burden hours due to program adjustments that primarily reflect expected changes in the number of SFMNP state agencies, individual/households (program recipients), and the number of farmers, farmers' markets, roadside stands, and CSA programs, from year to year.
SNAP - FY 2020 Cost of Living Adjustments
This memorandum provides the FY 2020 Cost-of-Living Adjustments to the SNAP maximum allotments, income eligibility standards and deductions. COLAs are effective as of Oct. 1, 2019.
Implementation of the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018
On Dec. 20, 2018, the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 was signed into law. Section 4102 of the Farm Bill changes CSFP certification requirements outlined in 7 CFR 247.16 effective immediately.
Significant Revisions to the Food Package Maximum Monthly Distribution Rates Effective Nov. 2019
FNS is making significant revisions to the CSFP food package which state agencies are expected to implement on Nov. 1, 2019. FNS is releasing the updated Distribution Rates at this time to allow CSFP state agencies and Indian Tribal Organizations sufficient time to consult with local agencies and plan their ordering accordingly to ensure smooth implementation of the enhanced food package.
CSFP Income Guidelines for 2019
This memorandum transmits the 2019 Income Guidelines for state agencies and Indian Tribal Organizations in determining the eligibility of individuals applying to participate in CSFP.
