Correction: NSLP, Special Milk, SBP National Average Payments/Maximum Reimbursement Rates
In notice document 2018-15465, appearing on pages 34105 through 34108, in the issue of Thursday, July 19, 2018, make the following correction: On page 34107, in the table, in the “Maximum Rate” column, in the first row, “0.30” should read “0.39”.

This Notice announces the annual adjustments to the national average payments, the amount of money the federal government provides states for lunches, afterschool snacks, and breakfasts served to children participating in the national school lunch and school breakfast programs.
Proposed Rule: Hiring Flexibility Under Professional Standards
This proposed rule would add four flexibilities to the hiring standards for new school nutrition program directors in small local educational agencies and new school nutrition program state directors under the professional standards regulations for the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.

This Notice announces the annual adjustments to the national average payments, the amount of money the federal government provides states for lunches, afterschool snacks and breakfasts served to children participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs; to the maximum reimbursement rates, the maximum per lunch rate from federal funds that a state can provide a school food authority for lunches served to children participating in the National School Lunch Program; and to the rate of reimbursement for a half-pint of milk served to non-needy children in a school or institution which participates in the Special Milk Program for Children.
Proposed Rule: Professional Standards for State and Local School Nutrition Programs Personnel as Required by the HHFKA of 2010
This proposed rule would establish minimum professional standards for school nutrition personnel who manage and operate the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.
