Data will be collected in six counties experiencing persistent intergenerational poverty through a study titled Understanding the Relationship Between Poverty, Well-Being, and Food Security.

The purpose of the Performance Reporting System is to ensure that each state agency and project area is operating the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program in accordance with the Act, regulations, and the state agency's Plan of Operation.
FNS will collect information to measure changes in fruit and vegetable purchases and consumption, food security, and perceived diet quality and health status among Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program participants receiving incentives at point of purchase.
