Community Eligibility Provision: Guidance and Updated Q&As
The Community Eligibility Provision is a meal service option for local educational agencies and schools in high-poverty areas. CEP allows participating LEAs and schools to serve breakfast and lunch at no cost to all enrolled students without the burden of collecting household applications.
Reminder Concerning E-Rate Audits by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
We were asked by the FCC to issue a reminder about cooperating with contractors auditing school districts’ receipt of funds under the FCC’s E-Rate fund. Auditing for the current cycle is scheduled to begin in December 2008.
