Current Puerto Rican birth certificates remain valid until the July I, 2010 effective date of the new law. Updated Timeline for Conversion of the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) Administrative and Food Funds

Due to the change in the implementation date for the Web-Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) system, the deadlines for state TEFAP agencies to convert TEFAP food and administrative funds as listed in the Oct. 23, 2009 memorandum entitled "Fiscal Year (FY) 2010 Funding for the Emergency Food Assistance Program" have been revised. These date changes will ensure that states have the ability to use their food and administrative funds efficiently this fiscal year, given the abbreviated food ordering timeline necessary for WBSCM implementation.
