The Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Agriculture (USDA) invite you to tune in for the 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee’s seventh and final meeting dedicated to the committee’s scientific report. The meeting will be held on Monday, Oct. 21 and Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST both days.
During this meeting, the committee will review and discuss the scientific findings and advice it plans to include in the Scientific Report of the 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee. The committee will finalize and submit its report to HHS and USDA after the meeting.

What Happens Next?
After the departments receive the scientific report, it will be posted on DietaryGuidelines.gov along with supplemental documents, including data analysis, food pattern modeling, and systematic review reports. A new public comment period will open after the committee’s report is posted to collect input for the departments as they develop the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2025-2030.
