There’s still time to register for this week’s 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee meeting. The meeting will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST, and Thursday, Sept. 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST.
HHS and USDA encourage the public to participate in this important event. Register in advance to view the livestream or view the recording at a later date on DietaryGuidelines.gov.
Meeting 6 will feature presentations from each subcommittee. The committee will also share details on progress made since the fifth public meeting in May, including evidence review and synthesis, draft conclusion statements, and plans to finalize the committee’s work. The meeting agenda is now available on DietaryGuidelines.gov.
Please also save the date for the committee’s seventh and final meeting on Oct. 21-22, 2024. During meeting seven, the committee will discuss its findings and advice it plans to include in its scientific report before the report is submitted to HHS and USDA. Information on how to register for meeting seven will be provided closer to the meeting date.
