Integrated Food Management System (IFMS)
The Integrated Food Management system (IFMS) includes the replacement of the Automated Inventory System (AIS). Long range plans include combining the functions of the food ordering systems Web Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) and Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Order Receipt System (FFAVORS).
IFMS Advisory Committee
The IFMS Advisory Committee was formed in 2017 under the auspices of the National Association of Food Distribution Programs on Indian Reservations (NAFDPIR). The Committee is comprised of national and regional representatives from Indian Tribal Organizations administering FDPIR and from the Food and Nutrition Service Technology staff. The Committee brings together stakeholders that provide the necessary perspective and expertise related to the systems used for food ordering, and the inventory management and issuance of USDA Foods in AIS.
