Why is streamlining a big deal in CACFP? Because reducing paperwork increases Program efficiency to make CACFP work better! Whether you are wondering how to make the best use of resources to implement the new meal requirements, or just looking for ideas to help you overcome administrative challenges, here is information you can use!

Today, the Resource Center spotlights a new set of Quick Guides to give you information on a specific issue that you can refer to at a glance. We encourage you to use these guides for advice about:

  • Excessive practices that, really, may not be needed in order to be in compliance with CACFP regulations.
  • Easier alternatives that would still provide enough information to enable State and sponsoring organization monitors to effectively do their work; and
  • Efficiencies that will let you see how you can free up the time and resources you really do need for implementing the CACFP meal patterns.

The Resource Center is expanding! Come back again for information on best practices and partner resources, including experiences with automated systems, monitoring, training, and technical assistance.
